Giuseppe Scapinelli

The Italian architect Giuseppe Scapinelli comes to Brazil in 1948, settling in the city of São Paulo where he will have the Giesse furniture factory, Saint Helena carpets, and stores.

His furniture has curved lines, futuristic and with his own identity, using his knowledge of ceramist, architect, sculptor, and painter in the design of his furniture made Scapinelli a peculiar mid-century designer.
