Mocho | Sergio Rodrigues

Mocho comes from a free interpretation of a common rural artifact in Brazil; the cow-milking stool, the "Mocho" stool synthesized the simplicity of both its function, a piece that could be used as a seat and a support. The "stool" also translated the concept of informality, through its design resources: a low piece on which the user had to crouch to sit, aide by a handle that would allow it to be moved anywhere. The first piece of furniture that Sergio designed for his company "Oca" and the second piece of his career its one of the most iconic.  The piece is made entirely by solid Brazilian rosewood.
