Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler are most known for well-shaped armchairs made in iron, but the production is far more complex, hand-crafted, and extensive. The wood pieces produced by Forma S.A. Móveis e Objetos de Arte during the 1950s and 1960s in Brazil are highly designed and well-executed.
This cane chair manufactured by Forma is composed of solid rosewood structure and cane in the seat and backrest. The seat is slightly angled backward, forming a cutout between the seat and the front feet. A beautiful combination of simplistic design and exceptional materials, that results in a very well executed piece.
.
The chairs are in very good vintage condition, restored in our Workshop by experienced professionals.
