The most important Brazilian furniture companies in the fifties and sixties had a complete section of fabrics in their galleries; curtains, rugs, and fabrics for upholsteries. This observation inspired us to start a long and deep research into textiles and their possibilities. For the past two years, we've been experimenting, testing, and developing a collection that we now have the immense pleasure of sharing.

The rigor in restoring vintage pieces made us bring the processes increasingly closer, leading us to establish our own Workshop to pay even more attention to all details: from each procedure to each material.

It is not just about the good-looking aspect but also the whole meaning of the word comfort – a concept complex to describe in words but one of the goals of modern design. The right fabric can accentuate curves and regulate temperature, and sometimes a bit of color can change the entire atmosphere of a room.

    Bossa Collection

In the research for the best materials, we rediscovered silk, a product of the life cycle of the silk cocoon. Of ancient origin, for a long time, the technique was kept entirely secret. Silk rapidly became a popular luxury fabric in the many areas accessible to Chinese merchants through the Silk Road. These routes were significant for the development of great civilizations and helped ground the modern world's beginning.

Silk spread worldwide and became a staple. It crossed continents, oceans, and centuries until it reached Brazil, where we met small manufacturers in the south that do a rich handmade process transforming cocoons into gorgeous bespoke fabrics.

With a color palette rooted in natural shades, our collection tells about Brazilian biodiversity; onion skin, turmeric roots, mango leaves, yerba mate, and annatto seeds are some of the raw and natural materials used in dyeing all of our fabrics.
