This elegant modular bookshelf features five wide shelves finished in fine wood veneer, ensuring a smooth and sophisticated surface.
The reinforced metal fittings provide excellent stability and allow for easy assembly and adaptability. Combining functionality with minimalist aesthetics, the piece exemplifies Forma S.A. Móveis e Objetos de Arte’s commitment to modernist design and exceptional craftsmanship.
In 1955, the pioneering company Móveis Artesanal, founded by Carlo Hauner in partnership with Martin Eisler and Ernesto Wolf, evolved into Forma S.A. Móveis e Objetos de Arte, aiming to meet Brazil’s rapidly growing modern market. Under its new identity, Forma produced some of the most iconic pieces in Brazilian design history.
Like many creations by Hauner and Eisler, this bookshelf was featured in major interior design projects and appeared in leading mid-century Brazilian magazines on architecture, design, and lifestyle.
