Liceu De Artes & Oficios is a Brazilian institution created in 1873 whose main activities followed the European Arts & Crafts Schools, focusing on design, casting, locksmithing, carpentry, and other fields. During these golden years of production, many sofas, armchairs, credenzas by many Brazilian young designers were manufactured and commercialized by Liceu de Artes e Oficios.
This armchair was produced in Brazilian Solid Rosewood and leather and manufactured in Liceu de Artes e Ofícios in the 1960s. The piece has been recently refinished and newly upholstered in natural leather. It presents the original manufecture stamp.
