The piece is made of solid Rosewood and attached to the wall in two fixation points using a few screws. It has seven shelves to exhibit books and decoration items beautifully.
Tenreiro saw the often heavy, overstuffed pieces that dominated the market as incompatible with a tropical country like Brazil. He formally promoted light furniture, which he attributed to grace and functionality in space. This piece has a complex construction, with slight thickness differences between its parts and angled diagonals.
The bookshelf is in very good vintage condition and presents a paper stamp by the manufacturer.
