Within the Glass House, blue accents across floors, columns, and furniture contribute to an ethereal atmosphere that dissolves into the surrounding landscape.
This versatile piece, alternately used as a stool or side table, reflects Bo Bardi’s poetic approach to functional design. It features a minimalist three-legged structure in iron tubing, topped with a circular wooden seat finished in black. Both modest and striking, the stool embodies Bo Bardi’s commitment to simplicity, material honesty, and timeless modernity. Over the years, the Glass House has been widely published as a seminal example of Brazilian modern architecture, with this stool standing as one of its most emblematic furnishings.
