We’re proud to present a new publication dedicated to Joaquim Tenreiro — furniture designer, decorator, gallery founder, and a defining voice of Brazilian modernism.

Through archival images, restored works, and critical essays, the book reveals how Tenreiro transformed craftsmanship into a modern language rooted in place, material, and meaning. Conceived by Bossa, it places historical records in dialogue with the restored pieces presented in the exhibition, allowing the past to resonate in the present and revealing new layers of interpretation.

It also unveils, for the first time, Tenreiro’s vision as a decorator and marchand — a discerning eye who introduced many of Brazil’s leading modern artists to the public in Rio during the 1950s, when only a few galleries dared to embrace a modern and distinctly Brazilian vision.
