Lucas Recchia

Overview

About

Lucas Recchia’s designs are rooted in a deep exploration of materiality and craftsmanship, blending ancestral techniques with a distinctly modern vision. His work reinterprets materials such as glass, bronze, and rare Brazilian stones, bringing them into the 21st century with sculptural forms that evoke both permanence and transformation.

Guided by an ongoing dialogue with artisans and a deep curiosity about the natural processes that shape his creations, Lucas pushes the boundaries of his own understanding of design. Each piece is an inquiry into how materials can hold memory, emotion, and a sense of place.

In 2025, Lucas Recchia will present solo exhibitions at SP-Arte in São Paulo and with Bossa in New York, in addition to participating in Milan Design Week with Rossana Orlandi. The first half of the year will also include a major presentation with Castorina in Australia.

Recognized as the most dynamic Brazilian designer in both national and international markets, Lucas’s work is represented in prestigious galleries and high-end stores across North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His collaborations with global fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Off-White have solidified his place as a key figure in contemporary collectible design, with his pieces held in the private collections of discerning and visionary collectors around the world.
