Featuring a slender iron structure with brass tips, the piece is composed of two independent volumes — seat and backrest — both secured to the frame with discreet screws.
Its ergonomic design presents soft, continuous curves that perfectly adapt to the human body. The armrests, formed by the natural extension of the seat, reveal Eisler’s focus on efficiency and clarity of construction, essential qualities for the industrial production envisioned during Brazil’s modernist period.
This armchair became one of Eisler’s most recognizable designs, featured in numerous interior projects, advertisements, and even on the cover of Casa e Jardim — one of the most influential design and lifestyle magazines of the 1950s and 1960s
