SP-Arte 2026 Expands Its Scale and Reinforces the Prominence of Design

SP-Arte reaches its 22nd edition at the Pavilhão da Bienal, São Paulo, from April 8 to 12, with 180 exhibitors — national and international galleries, design studios, cultural institutions, publishers and independent spaces.

The design sector completes a decade with 64 exhibitors, including 19 first-timers. The main novelty is the Design Now sector, dedicated to the independent Brazilian design scene, bringing together ten studios selected by Livia Debbane and Patricia Dranoff, with mini-environments conceived by the Superlimão studio. Debbane also signs the exhibition "Existe uma árvore," which places wood at the center of the curatorial narrative.

Among the highlights: LinBrasil presents the "Paiol" chair, one of the last creations by Sergio Rodrigues; Bossa Furniture inaugurates its São Paulo store during the fair; and Ulysses de Santi brings Lucas Simões' visual research into furniture.

"We reach the 22nd edition with the consecration of design within and beyond the fair," says Fernanda Feitosa, creator of SP-Arte.

The programming includes talks at the Arena Iguatemi and the Palco SP-Arte, as well as new spaces on the third floor.
