De Nova York a São Paulo: galeria inaugura no Brasil com peças raras e design contemporâneo

Bossa Gallery Opens in São Paulo
Active since 2017 in New York, the gallery Bossa landed on Brazilian soil, in the Bela Vista neighborhood of São Paulo, at the beginning of April.
Its portfolio features works by masters such as Joaquim Tenreiro, Lina Bo Bardi, Carlo Hauner, Martin Eisler and Sergio Rodrigues, as well as contemporary creators like Lucas Recchia, Daniel Jorge, India Mahdavi, Juliana Vasconcellos and Domingos Tótora.
According to founder Isabela Milagre, "Being abroad gave us global credentials and the privilege of learning daily from extremely demanding collectors, clients and brands, such as YSL, Dior and Louis Vuitton."
The over-1,000 m² São Paulo address is divided into two main areas: one called the Instituto de Pesquisa e Restauração do Design Brasileiro, housing a restoration atelier, and an area dedicated to the curatorial program.
On the design philosophy, Milagre states: "In the end, craftsmanship is what allows us to deliver a design that has soul and history, yet is supported by impeccable execution and an entire production chain that respects history and those who make it — that, for us, is non-negotiable."
