Paris, here we come. This season, Bossa joins forces with CØR Studio and The Floating Art Hotel to present Radiant, a selection co-curated by the three of us in Studio Cor’s space in Paris. Six artists and designers, one idea: works that don’t wait for light to arrive, but give it off. For Bossa, it’s a chance to bring two Brazilian voices into the same room, and into conversation, across half a century.

On one side, Percival Lafer, whose leather lounge chairs carried the optimism of Brazilian modernism into industrial production, designed for the body and made to be shared. On the other, Lucas Recchia, who fuses his glass with the power of the sun and works in bronze and rare Brazilian stones, proving that Brazilian design can live far beyond the wood it’s famous for.
Two generations, two answers to the same question: what is Brazilian design made of?
