The Azen Mirror is an icon of Brazilian Mid-century design, created by Sergio Rodrigues and manufactured by Oca in 1965, the piece is made from a solid Rosewood frame with chromed details. The structure follows the same logic as the "Franco" sofa and the "Tonico" armchair: juxtaposed wooden pieces of rectangular section. Form follows assembly logic, not ornament. The mirror holds its place through material contrast and structure. A document of Brazilian modernist thinking.
